Apex Garage Doors LLC provides garage door repair in Paradise, NV. We repair the garage door you already have, whether you need a broken spring, damaged cable, worn roller, or bent track fixed. Whenever possible, we complete the repair during the same visit and get your garage door working smoothly and more quietly than it was before the problem started. Call +1 725-232-5237 and describe the noise or how the door is sitting. That information helps us identify the problem and bring the right parts to the job.
Broken torsion and extension springs. The single most common failure in the valley. A door that lifts two inches then stops, a loud pop from the garage, or a visible gap in the coil above the opening all point here. Springs are replaced in matched pairs so the door stays balanced replacing only the failed one just puts the next break on your calendar. Never try to lift a door with a broken spring; the door’s full weight is now on the opener or on you.
Snapped or frayed lift cables. When a cable jumps its drum the door hangs crooked and the bottom corner sags. We unwind, re-seat, and re-tension both cables, then check the drums for the grooving that caused the fray in the first place.
Door off its track. Usually a bump from a bumper or a seized roller. We lift the door back into the tracks, straighten what’s bent, and replace rollers that no longer spin freely. If a vertical track is kinked, that section gets swapped a hammered-flat track will keep chewing rollers.
Worn rollers, hinges, and bearings. This is the grinding-and-shuddering complaint. Nylon rollers and fresh end bearings usually cut the noise dramatically, which matters in Paradise’s tighter subdivisions where garages share walls with bedrooms.
Bent or dented panel repair. A single struck panel can often be straightened, reinforced with a strut, or replaced individually if the door model still has stock. When two or more panels are creased or the steel has rusted at the bottom seam, we’ll say so plainly and point you to replacement instead.
Weather seals and bottom retainers. Desert sun cooks the rubber flat, then summer dust and monsoon runoff come straight under the door. New bottom seal and side stops are a short, inexpensive visit.
Door won’t close, or reverses on its own. We diagnose the mechanical side a binding track, a dragging seal, a hinge out of alignment. If the fault turns out to be in the motor head, sensors, or remotes, that’s covered on our garage door opener repair page and the same technician can handle it on the same call.
Repair it if: the door body is sound, it’s under roughly 15 years old, and the failure is a spring, cable, roller, hinge, track, or a single panel. Hardware is consumable; the door isn’t.
Consider stopping the repairs if: panels are rusted through at the bottom, several sections are creased, or you’ve paid for three or more separate fixes in about a year. At that point the repairs start out-costing a new door for your Paradise home. If the opening itself is new or was reframed during a remodel, you need garage door installation rather than a repair.
We’ll give you the honest version on site, in writing, even when the honest version is the cheaper one.
Paradise runs from the Strip corridor down past Silverado Ranch, and the housing mix shows up in our repair log. The 1990s–2000s tract homes off Pebble, Sunset, and Eastern are largely on original hardware now, which is exactly the age when springs reach the end of their cycle count. Condo and townhome garages near UNLV and the airport get heavy daily cycling from multiple drivers, so rollers and bearings wear years earlier than in a single-driver household. And everywhere: 110°F summers dry the grease out of bearings and rollers, then blowing dust turns what’s left into grit that grinds tracks. Two lubrication-and-tension checks a year, one before summer and one after, prevents most of the calls we get.
Repairs throughout Paradise and the immediately surrounding valley including the Strip corridor, University District, Silverado Ranch, Paradise Palms, and the Sunset/Eastern and Pebble/Warm Springs neighborhoods.
Describe what the door is doing and we’ll tell you what it likely needs, what it costs, and when we can be there. +1 725-232-5237

Todd is fantastic! I cannot recommend him enough! He is honest, fair and is truly interested in making sure that the customer is truly taken care of. I wish there was a way to rate for service with more than 5 stars. I had a questionable experience with another garage door repair company, and Todd came out and made sure that everything was ok with my garage door. He certainly did not have to do that, and he has earned a lifelong customer! His communication is excellent. His pricing is straightforward and fair. He is kind. He had everything on his truck and was very well educated on materials and extremely informed. He double and triple checked his work and made sure I was satisfied with everything before he left. When I say this guy is top notch and should be your first call, believe me. Thank you so much Todd for turning a really awful morning into a great day. You are the best and have restored my faith in honest and good people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Posted on Yelp![]()

Our garage door won't open so I sent a request through Yelp. Todd was the first one to reply and asked questions about the issue. He came by the very next day and gave an estimate and price is reasonable. He's a pro, and knows what he's doing and is great at it. Appreciate that he's honest and reliable! Apex Garage Doors is on my contact list now in case we encounter any garage door issues in the future! I'll recommend this company to anybody! Thank you so much!!Posted on Yelp![]()

Great service! Todd is professional, honest, and a very nice guy. I called him out for a sticking garage light and general garage door maintenance. I also wanted an opinion on my garage door motor which is 28 years old. I thought that maybe because it was so old I should replace it. He didn't think it was necessary to replace it at this time since it was working perfectly and didn't try to sell me a new motor. I will definitely be calling him whenever it does start having problems. Highly recommend!Posted on Yelp![]()

Todd was quick to come out and was the only one willing to give me an estimate over the phone. He was true to his word on the pricing, knowledgeable, and flexible with the arrival window ON A SATURDAY! Todd knows the other guys in the industry, and if you have the option of getting another opinion before you have the work done, I STRONGLY suggest giving Apex the opportunity to fight for your business.Posted on Yelp![]()

Tood did a awesome job on my garage door. He was quick to respond to schedule and exceeded what I expected from a contractor, trust, friendly, honest, skilled and dedicated. I can't say enough about him. He made my day and my 24-year-old garage look like knew, at a very fair price.Load more
My door lifts a few inches and stops. What’s wrong?
Almost always a broken spring. The opener is now trying to lift the door’s entire weight and can’t. Leave it down and call us forcing it damages the opener next.
Can you fix just one broken spring?
We replace them as a matched pair. The surviving spring has the same cycles on it and typically fails within months, so a single replacement means paying for the trip twice.
Is it safe to use the door if it’s off track?
No. Stop using the opener, don’t park under it, and call. Running a door in a bad track bends the track and can drop the door.
Do you repair the door itself or the motor?
Both, but they’re separate jobs. Springs, cables, tracks, rollers, and panels are on this page; motor units, sensors, and remotes are opener repair.
How long does a typical repair take?
Most spring, cable, and roller jobs are done inside about an hour once we’re on site.
Can you repair a dented panel instead of replacing the whole door?
Often yes one struck panel can be straightened or swapped individually. Multiple creased or rusted panels are where replacement wins.
