How long does a standard garage door installation take?

A professional installation typically takes between 4 to 6 hours. This includes the removal of existing hardware, structural assembly of the new track and torsion system, and final safety calibration of the motor and sensors.

Do I need new tracks and springs for a new garage door installation?

Yes. Apex Garage Doors, LLC always installs brand-new tracks, springs, and cables with every new door. Garage door systems are engineered as a complete unit; reusing old components can cause imbalance, excessive noise, and premature motor failure.

What is a High-Lift installation?

A high-lift setup modifies the track system so the door travels higher toward the ceiling before turning back. This is ideal for Summerlin homes utilizing car lifts or maximizing vertical overhead storage space.

Are your garage door installations wind-load compliant?

Absolutely. Every installation performed by Apex Garage Doors, LLC meets or exceeds Nevada building codes for wind-load resistance, using reinforced steel tracks and struts to handle high-desert wind events.

Can I install a smart motor with a new garage door?

Yes. We specialize in Wi-Fi enabled motors featuring myQ technology, allowing for smartphone control, real-time alerts, and secure monitoring of your new installation from anywhere.

Verified Todd is fantastic! I cannot recommend him enough! He is honest, fair and is truly interested in making sure that the customer is truly taken care of. I wish there was a way to rate for service with more than 5 stars. I had a questionable experience with another garage door repair company, and Todd came out and made sure that everything was ok with my garage door. He certainly did not have to do that, and he has earned a lifelong customer! His communication is excellent. His pricing is straightforward and fair. He is kind. He had everything on his truck and was very well educated on materials and extremely informed. He double and triple checked his work and made sure I was satisfied with everything before he left. When I say this guy is top notch and should be your first call, believe me. Thank you so much Todd for turning a really awful morning into a great day. You are the best and have restored my faith in honest and good people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He came by the very next day and gave an estimate and price is reasonable. He's a pro, and knows what he's doing and is great at it. Appreciate that he's honest and reliable!
Apex Garage Doors is on my contact list now in case we encounter any garage door issues in the future! I'll recommend this company to anybody! Thank you so much!!

Verified Great service! Todd is professional, honest, and a very nice guy. I called him out for a sticking garage light and general garage door maintenance. I also wanted an opinion on my garage door motor which is 28 years old. I thought that maybe because it was so old I should replace it. He didn't think it was necessary to replace it at this time since it was working perfectly and didn't try to sell me a new motor. I will definitely be calling him whenever it does start having problems.
Highly recommend!

Verified Todd was quick to come out and was the only one willing to give me an estimate over the phone. He was true to his word on the pricing, knowledgeable, and flexible with the arrival window ON A SATURDAY!

Todd knows the other guys in the industry, and if you have the option of getting another opinion before you have the work done, I STRONGLY suggest giving Apex the opportunity to fight for your business.
